Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembeleand Désiré Doue have surged to the forefront of the early online voting for the 2025 Ballon d’Or and Kopa Trophy, respectively, according toby L’Équipe.
Dembele currently leads the men’s Ballon d’Or vote with an impressive 37.8%, while Doue tops the Kopa Trophy race with 29.7%, signalling a strong start for the Ligue 1 giants.
Dembele’s dominance in the Ballon d’Or poll, which also featured images of the top contenders, outpaces Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal (7.5%) and PSG teammates Achraf Hakimi (5.9%) and Vitinha (2.9%).
Notably, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé trails with just 0.8%, a surprising dip that has sparked debate among fans.
Meanwhile, Doue’s lead in the Kopa Trophy vote, which recognises the best under-21 player, sees him ahead of Yamal (24.3%) and other young talents like João Neves (3.4%) and Pau Cubarsí (0.9%).
